This is anecdotal, but my wife told me that I became a much more smug unpleasant person after I had spent extended amounts of my free time on reddit.
Hail Eris!
That was a good read, thanks. I think it would be interesting to know what the original story was like. I do agree that it seems like their were additions and subtractions made to the story. It seems to be common, and in textual criticism you still find scholars arguing over certain parts of both the old and new testament. I think I tend to agree with Voltaire on this one.
Great book. Giordano Bruno is my favorite of the catholic magicians.
I've never had much of a problem with coffee. I was on an energy drink kick for a while, and man that stuff can really mess with you. Even if they didn't find caffeine to be harmful; I'm sure they could definitely find a link between some health problems and those energy cocktails people pound all day long.
I've never gone beyond the gin-tonic; so these will be interesting to try. Thanks for sharing. It may open me up to gin.
I love Feed Me. First time I saw him was in Ibiza.
I always found the worst part of being a bystander was trying not to be seen or heard laughing, haha.
I think you summed it up well. At least for me anyway. The beginning is sort of elusive, but once you get to the middle, you can pretty much follow it from there.
I bought the same.
Thanks for sharing. This is the first time I've come across this blog, and I have to say, it's pretty impressive.
Wow, this is amazing.
Thanks. I'm trying to convince her. She is somewhat of a religious WoW player, haha.
Haha, Alan Moore is also an experienced occultist. In my opinion, I think that gives him something that most people in that community are lacking. He understands the purpose of myth. I think one of the big problems with people in that community is that they get obsessed with their myths and never really learn or grow from them.
I'd like to be added. =)
That's what I was wondering. Besides Russia wanting to keep the port in Crimea, from what I understand, the majority of the Crimeans are pro-Russia and want to be protected from the nationalists in western Ukraine. I guess the other stake in this is potential shale oil reserves. I need to do some more reading on this angle, but it sounds like western oil companies and even people like George Soros have potential money to make in this whole thing.
