I am happy to report that I learned mead does not give me a hangover!

I had almost an entire bottle, and was braced for impact. If this were red wine I would be done for.

At the end of the day, I learned that mead is a very refreshing beverage with a shockingly approachable sweetness. Many of us were "confused" at the beginning of your sips, but found the middle and end of our sips to be much easier to describe.

I'll buy mead again.

I liked what I drank, but I didn't find myself wanting more. The sweetness kinda hung with me, and I really don't like sweet drinks after one or two. No way I could have finished the bottle. At think point in my life, I can't even drink an entire can of soda, because I just don't care for the mouth feel. Mead is definitely not as bad as soda, but still, I don't think I'd ever want more than one or two in a sitting.

Exactly why I like my mead bone-dry.

I'm interested to try a dry one. Unfortunately the mead options around me are pretty sparse. I'm gonna keep my eyes open though.

I'm with you. I really enjoyed it from the first sip to the last. I never had more than a good buzz, but I felt great this morning. I'm surprised that you fared as well.

I'll be buying mead again. At least Viking Blod.

I think you summed it up well. At least for me anyway. The beginning is sort of elusive, but once you get to the middle, you can pretty much follow it from there.
