Call me a cynic, but I think that in a few years, hubski will be nearly as bad as reddit, as it seems to be the trend that all discussion websites take a bad turn. I certainly hope that doesn't happen however, but I worry.

I worry, but hubski should be fine as long as Reddit and other aggregators keep their average users in line. Like 9Gag keeps the worst users from Reddit, Reddit will keep mediocre users from hubski.

EDIT: After thinking this through, it doesn't matter. Reddit went down the toilet anyway. Only time will tell.

I agree, and I'm here trying to get ahead of the curve. I think that Hubski's focus on individual reputation will make it harder to destroy. On the other hand, subreddits were supposed to be the magic bullet against eternal september.
