Small question about Arc, coming from a Haskell background. I've used Yesod for web applications, and it has a database-agnostic API for persistence (called yesod-persistent). Is there a similar tool for Arc, or is there at least a database API to any specific one?

Excuse my language, but this struck a cord with me because parts of my family bought into this bullshit and neglected the actual treatment they needed (Indians are into that crazy mystic bullshit). They're goners. Normally I would say, if you want to screw yourself over, go ahead. But this is going to screw over innocent kids whose parents are batshit crazy, and others who come in contact with them. Thankfully and hopefully, the herd immunity perseveres. I just feel sorry for the kids.
