Finally watched Her, and I couldn't agree more with you. Her is a movie at least in part about relationships and how we interact with each other and technology for that matter. What makes a relationship unique, how can we ask forgiveness of ourselves if we don't think others will give it to us, how can we adapt to change (both in a relationship and in this case technologically what with the phone sex and all that that I could dive in to), and how to deal with being unsure of what you're doing with your life. The film reminded me of Lost in Translation in a lot of ways, which makes sense because Spike Jonze is married to Sofia Coppola. Cinematography was pretty great too. Then there's everything else we could talk about related to consumerism and technology, the other things I felt were major themes in this film. This review reflects a lot of my feelings about the film.
