"It is hard to say exactly why such a phrase from a bygone decade would have so much appeal and resonance now"

Speaking for myself who immediately thought "I need that hanging over my desk at work," I think any reminder to relax or slow down helps in society. I have to tell myself that about 10-15 times a day. The historical background makes it even that much more interesting. Anyone read the book by any chance?

My issue lies in the fact that I can theoretically find the time to buy some of the items I buy off Amazon and other online retailers at a physical store but with things such as automatic subscriptions to items I will buy monthly (additional discount) and one-click ordering, it has left me helpless. There's also the nail in the coffin that it is substantially cheaper online.

On the other hand, I found myself horrified at the conditions for these workers but understand that the bottom line for companies will produce such conditions. I seek the lowest priced item online and, in turn, affirm the actions of these corporations. So, I am left conflicted. Would we need some kind of Angieslist for these organizations hiring 3PLs or are we looking at an unrealistic boycott of Amazon and other retailers using some of these sweat box shops?

A site where I can finally find compelling articles again.

My relationship has that same introvert + extrovert dynamic that she mentioned about her relationship. I always find it interesting how we find people so completely unlike ourselves so compelling. I watched this to continue to explore the inner thoughts of an introvert and I think she did a fantastic job in giving me yet another glimpse into this.
