My issue lies in the fact that I can theoretically find the time to buy some of the items I buy off Amazon and other online retailers at a physical store but with things such as automatic subscriptions to items I will buy monthly (additional discount) and one-click ordering, it has left me helpless. There's also the nail in the coffin that it is substantially cheaper online.
On the other hand, I found myself horrified at the conditions for these workers but understand that the bottom line for companies will produce such conditions. I seek the lowest priced item online and, in turn, affirm the actions of these corporations. So, I am left conflicted. Would we need some kind of Angieslist for these organizations hiring 3PLs or are we looking at an unrealistic boycott of Amazon and other retailers using some of these sweat box shops?

Nah.. it's great! Two competing threads.. duking it out for who has the more lively "warehouse wage slave" post. Any other site and it would be two posts about cats playing piano's. Someone pointed out earlier today that we had two posts about a Stick Bug that was extinct being re-discovered. It's all good!
