Guys, it's not a big deal. Sorry I left in a tizzy. I'll try to finally make it to shitting all over the recent optimistic fusion news within another week or so. Glad to be back though, but I'm still on twitter 😬
Every day is a referendum on whether or not I've ever managed a truly original thought. Jury's still out.
No shame in being from reddit, that's how I found this place too. I think the best advice I can give you is that things move sslllloooooowwwwwwwww here compared to forums where there's a larger base of users. Most of us here seem to be absurdly busy with life outside of this place, but I still drop in maybe a couple of times each day on average, and others range from about the same to maybe a couple of times each week. That said, it's not taboo to initiate a conversation in old threads. I wish people did it more. Make a post and tag it #askhubski or #tellhubski, whichever's appropriate. A lot of people follow those tags, and not a lot of people have been using them lately, so you've got a good shot at an audience. Hubski search (the magnifying glass in the topmost right corner) works pretty well these days. There's a lot of content here accrued over the last decade. Just click around, you're not gonna break anything. Probably.
