Something not STEM. I've bought into the whole STEM circlejerk for a while now, and even went so far to condemn anything not STEM. My opinion changed when I took World History, and I really enjoyed it.

I've always been curious about philosophy, but I never actually took the time to try and pick it up. I think that's just a matter of "I don't know what to expect."

I'd also like to get into art. I've tried writing or drawing before, but I almost always end up throwing my pen or pencil down in frustration because it's not perfect or because it reads awkwardly. I've always gotten a As and Bs in English, but that's mainly analytical writing and it always feels like I'm just pulling things out my ass.

Finally, functional programming. Since that's the new trend nowadays in the programming community.

And how does "People of Color" connotate a community while "colored people" doesn't? You can describe baseball fans as "baseball fans" or "fans of baseball" and it still has the same meaning.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. What, did every colored person in the world go up to the Un and demand that they be referred to as "People of Color"? Otherwise you have no clue if it was" assigned" or not.

Whether you put the adjective before are after the noun makes no difference.

The term SJW used to mean people who used legitimate movements like feminism as a bludgeon (similar to tumblr's infamous dark-side) but now it's been watered down by neckbeards to the point where it means nothing.

But I don't doubt for a second that subs like that didn't make sexist or racist remarks about Pao when the hate train was going full speed. That's just the internet for you.

I don't think it's misogyny. In fact, I rarely see sexist, racist, etc, stuff on Reddit. Maybe it's exaggerated, maybe it's what I'm subbed too, or maybe I just don't notice it.

But I digress. To me, this seems more of a case of pride. Lot's of people jumped on the let's hate Pao bandwagon. Now, as the truth comes out, everyone is too proud to admit that they were in the wrong, so of course, they'll try to find any way justify their actions.

I do homework while I think about what programming projects I could be doing instead of homework.

And then when I get the time to do those projects, I play TF2 and CS:GO instead.
