According to the article, the military is looking to replicate it. I'm guessing there are other people who want to forgo eating and drinking.

EDIT: To clarify, he is not asking for people to replicate it, sure. But people will try to anyway. That is bad.

I just want to point out that the article has Google Ads on the right side towards the bottom. I realize that this 3QD website is not run by the author, but it was still kind of funny reading something that refers to advertisement indirectly as an "economic sin" while having my attention diverted to an advertisement.

This looks a lot like the surface keyboard, which I thought felt pretty good for it's size. Although it probably isn't as big of a deal as I think it is, it also seems to rely on having a flat surface to use. I don't always have those. Still, I might try it out when they release it.

‘These claims are very dangerous, because people try to follow these holy men and can end up hurting themselves.'

This is the specific reason that I don't like these kinds of magic men. Even if he is able to survive without food and water for some (weird) reason, that doesn't mean other humans can as well. Yet I'm sure other people will "suspend their disbelief" and try to replicate his "survival technique." Which will not end well.
