Yes to a point, I don't think anytime a woman says they are being harassed that we demand instant proof, sometimes that's not possible but we can't dismiss her claim, you don't have to believe she was harassed but at least believe that she thinks she was harassed. What is harassment to you might be different to her (though it's very clear what harassment is)

Anita for example has proved numerous times she has been harassed and people still think she's just doing it to herself. Harassment is any kind of wanted attention, especially if it persists after they asked you to stop. Felicia Day got doxxed right after talking about GG and being scared of that happening.

My point is that being called an idiot, dick or asshat online is nowhere near as offensive or threatening as rape/death threats and gendered slurs like cunt, bitch, whore that women seem to get , not to mention the classic "get back in the kitchen" everyone is expected to laugh at but one male tears mug lights all their asses on fire and all of a sudden women are misandrists .

Not to be rude but have you seen rapes happen? Things can happen that you won't see. I have plenty of friends who are skeptical about the validity of female gamer friends who have said they were harassed. A lot of the time it's not even via voice chat in game, it can be after the game with messages or stalking.

I knew about him before this, it's genuinely sad that out of the very little good people left in the world, they seem to be getting killed off and the guy in the camry was just fine. I've put in about $60-$80 into the game and pretty much forgot about it, it's too large for me to keep updating every couple weeks. It'll be done when it's done, the more overfunded a kickstarter project is the longer it's delayed and my god was it over funded.

Women are more often attacked using rape threats, sexual harassment, gendered slurs, etc. Men not so much. A man online won't be so quick to say he's going to rape another man for fear of being laughed at by peers calling him gay. Saying you're going to rape a female, is met with hoots and howls, at worst silence but rarely dissent.

I'm not a dad, hell I'm not even a male but I know that being a father is far more than being the biological parent. It's about responsibility and love, tough love and wanting the best for your child.

I did not grow up with my father but my grandfather, he was the most caring man I've ever known and loved us all so much, I even took to calling him dad along with my mother and aunt. I eventually found my real father, he'd moved on and created his own life and I have multiple other sisters. I do love him and I really don't blame him for anything, I just want to spend time with him but he wants to play video games all the time after work till he goes to bed. Sometimes I wake up from a dream where I hug him and I just miss him, he however is afraid I'll go after him for back child support and that I just want his money, because of this he never sends me anything during holidays or my birthday or spends anymore than necessary on me

This is why I have a hard time with math as a concept, I need to be able to learn how something works, why it works, the history of it etc, numbers are simply a construct we came up with as a means to measure the world and communicate, I can't feel or touch a number, it's all in your head.

I'd be all for this as I have bouts of depression but as others have said, it's best to not make it an echo chamber, we want to be supportive, but not to the point that if someone is having a serious issue, we just rub their back and tell them everything is fine
