I guess you mean smart in the sense that people like us are satisfied. Smart is such an objective term but I totally agree.

Yeah, but right now there are like <6.000 of us, what happens when we're 20.000 or 100.000? I get that the site will change as the site grows, but how?

I love that one.

This is really relevant since inline images are allowed. But is this going to be enforced? Who's going to browse through reported comments/post?

Yeah, you're right, but I'm sure it actually leaves the page when commenting via another page. IIRC the markup link was on the bottom left of the text area as well. I don't remember what page that was.

Harsh! But I agree there's a lot to be done in order to make hubski bearable. Not only the actual UI, but UX wise as well. Like when you open up someone's hub and follow them and the page reloads and you lose your scroll position or maybe even an unfinished comment. Or when you click "markup" and it leaves the page. There are a lot of these annoying "features".

Oh, my mistake then.

According to the guy you were talking to the account was up during your conversation. I guess the admins are listening to it as well?

I agree. My dislike for them is only personal.

When was the DailyDot conversation recorded? That user you said you guys reported multiple times seems to have been banned.

LowSociety  ·  4339 days ago  ·  link  ·    ·  parent  ·  post: So I deleted my reddit account...

Yeah, I don't know. Personally I don't like PIMA but that's just me.

I'm listening to the DailyDot conversation on Liveleak right now and if you want my advice, you should keep pushing on the fact that you've prevented CP from being posted.

Didn't the admins give a vague statement about rule-breaking in that case too? Something about them having "investigated" the account and found reasons for a ban?

The drama posts seemed to have set that investigation off, though.

Are you referring to the PIMA banning here?

And it's all your fault.

LowSociety  ·  4351 days ago  ·  link  ·    ·  parent  ·  post: Experiment: What's YOUR most controversial opinion, Hubski?

I'm a peskitarian as well and I get loads of heat from everyone, because if there's one thing people hate it's inconsistency. "You don't eat that animal but you do eat that animal, you hypocrite!"

My reasoning is simply that I don't go all the way with vegetarianism, and to make it easier for my friends and family to cook whenever I'm over for dinner. I almost never buy fish myself, but I eat it if someone puts it on a plate in front of me.
