I agree. My dislike for them is only personal. When was the DailyDot conversation recorded? That user you said you guys reported multiple times seems to have been banned.

This afternoon. The removal of /u/MrSnakeX must have been recent because when I checked the other day the account was still up. The thing is, the links he posted are still active if you search his name which means all of his posts are still active: http://www.reddit.com/r/all/search?q=mrsnakex
