Neat! Previously, I would simply save a post and get back to it through my profile. This keeps you from having to go through those extra steps though and I'd assume would likely keep you engaged in discussion a lot better since it is instantly presented to you (and therefore you're reminded of it) whenever you browse through your feed.
I'd save your 17€ and just stay in and watch this instead. I know it's nothing like actually being present and feeling that heavy bass reverberate inside your chest and getting out and moving, but you could maybe save the cover for another night with another act. I guess it also depends who they're playing with too.
I too love this album, but I should say that I don't find them all too appealing live. I really don't feel like Lauren is cut out for performance at this point in time. I could be entirely off, but she seems pretty unsure of herself when on stage and whether to trust her in-ear monitor or not. That, and there is little to no stage presence at all between the three of them, but most so from her. I get that you can only do so much when in front of staged keys/sampling equipment, but come on! Anyhow, that's just my opinion. Don't stone me too hard. All things aside though, really catchy stuff. It's pretty apparent that the tracks not heard until this album were recorded much later than say The Mother We Share and Recover (I see you too Gun + Lies). Out of the new tracks, I didn't find myself skipping over any, but they don't seem to stand on their own in my eyes except for Night Sky and We Sink.
From a somewhat recent playlist I made for a Mars Volta fan. * Amrita * Circa Survive * Hrvrd * Minus The Bear * Portugal. The Man * Rx Bandits
Doh. I completely missed that. Thanks for pointing that out. I happen to have used post to interchangeably mean post/comment. That's just my folly.1 can be found in the upper right of any post.
I should mention that commenting is often as important to getting followers as posting is.
I'm late to the party here (I arrived with the recent influx of reddit users), but is it too late to submit recordings? I see this was posted a month ago, and so I'd think chances are good that the upcoming podcast is already in the midst of production. If things are still early in the process and submissions are still welcomed, I'd love to submit!
One of my favorite performances on youtube from them is here. Pickwick - Staged Names / Hacienda Motel (2011 - The Doe Bay Sessions)

Great idea! I'll work on that. I'm also planning on adding a section for specific links meant to work as playlists / streams of an entire album. This template will also be adapted for playlists too, and not only for albums.
Hey guys/gals, I made up a template for album postings which could possibly be used for #weeklydj. It's still a work in progress. I'd love to have those interested in this to visit here and throw around their ideas so it may be improved upon. Let me know what you think!
Oh, my apologies. I wasn't able to find a list of known issues anywhere previously. Would you be kind enough to link me to it so that I may not inadvertently post issues you're already aware of in the future?
I haven't seen this touched on yet, so I thought I'd throw this idea around. For those who aren't already familiar with this, tags are added to threads by the OP (a maximum of two). However, a third tag is also able to be appended as voted on by the community. If you view the tutorial (see the bottom very of any page), it touches on this a bit. thenewgreen has written about how exactly this works in this thread. It reads as follows. So, perhaps that could be something to be looked at as a partial solution to the problem of genre tagging!Edit: there's been some discussion on the issue of genre being murky. This is a great point and more discussion is welcome.
To answer your question.... Next to your name in the upper left hand corner is a "hub-wheel". This wheel populates more and more as you use the site and are recognized. Once you've completed a full wheel you will be able to administer "community tags".
For any other questions check out the FAQ page, the "ABOUT" page and the "TUTORIAL" at the bottom of the page.
Beyond that, feel free to let me know if I can answer any questions. Thanks and welcome!
Here's the link to the thread which revealed this information for those who are curious.
I know with markdown, the use of the HTML entity code ) works as a dirty fix. It doesn't seem to work at present here though.

I received a free $25 credit for DigitalOcean which I used to test their services, and I personally wasn't happy with their performance. The I/O was horrible for what was SSD. I ran a droplet with ONLY TeamSpeak3 running and would often enough encounter stutter due to latency issues with a even a small group of 3-4 people. They may have improved since I discontinued their services (3 months ago). In any case, I was only using it on a trial basis. With my impression of it however, I'd say it would be fine for a developer looking for an alternative to Heroku/GoogleAppEngine/AWS/etc, but I wouldn't use it for anything which was meant for production use.
If you are worried about logging, you should note that in many countries, there are data retention laws which require the logging of select data for a set period of time. You'll want to find a host provider which is in a country where such laws are ruled unconstitutional or simply do not exist. You can find a list for this task here.
Two resources I often use when looking for a VPS are the following. * LowEndBox.com * ServerBear.com Both of those are great resources. The LEB community has a pretty solid userbase which reports back in the comment sections leaving feedback on performance and support from the company being written about, and there are also a lot of specials made for LEB users for a reduced price and/or free upgrades. ServerBear is more of a data driven site, and can quickly give you results based on your requirements and rank one VPS against others for comparison. Very nice. Personally speaking, I've had great service from the below providers. Almost all of my VPS are from BuyVM.net these days though. * BuyVM * SimpleNode * Prometeus * RamNode LowEndSpirit is a SUPER cheap option, but you're limited in what you can run because of the low RAM available on their plans. It would be more than suitable to run a VPN through for example, but I wouldn't rely on it to reliably service any moderate traffic site. Regardless of who you end up choosing, be sure to do the research into the company beforehand and also check out LEB/ServerBear and various coupon sites to see if there are promos going on which can score you some discount or free upgrade options. Oh, also. Certain providers run out of stock (because they don't like to oversell and cause performance degradation in doing so -- mainly an issue with OpenVZ), and LowEndStock is a good place to monitor some of the popular providers which are in high demand.
