Thanks. I'm sure the RES had some influence on me. However, here it's for less of a 'stat check' than it is for providing actionable info. Specifically, it is to let you know who that person follows, which kind of works like a recommendation engine. The same goes for showing who shared a post (which you can see in a post preview).

I want to play up information that makes it easier to get what you want out of the site, and play down information that creates a competitive feel.

It's a work in progress. I have this vision of completely removing the 'all posts' feed, but before that could happen, discovery has to be much improved.

Downplaying the competitive aspect of seeing your karma score while trying to build a community. This is exactly what I want to hear. Looks like it might be able to replace reddit for me in a little bit.

Hey, no pressure now! :) But, I'm glad to hear you're liking what you see. Feel free to send feedback as you get more familiar.

We've got a pretty great core base of users here. Of course, I hope that we'll continue to grow, but I'd like to without the experience diminishing. -That's the real challenge.

I still check in at Reddit myself from time to time. I'm not sure Hubski could be a total replacement, or it I'd even want that. Since we are doing things different, there might be things that Reddit has that we don't, and that we have that Reddit doesn't. I'm just going to keep doing what feels right over here.
