Sometimes I like to ask, "what do I understand?" instead of "what do I know?" I find that that makes things a bit more manageable for me sometimes. I think that too often people want to know What is True, without really thinking about what they would do if they ever found The Truth. I also think that this feeds in the desire to Believe in something. I won't say that I'm not guilty of these things myself, but I will say that once I understood that every person is able to manipulate their own realities and therefore the reality we all think we share, not knowing things became a lot less worrying. Goals are one way we can change our realities for ourselves. However, most of us are taught that Goals are Big, when really, goals are made up of lots of little parts. I guess you could call them micro goals, or nano goals. Whatever. Right now, I have my long term goals set, but I am unsure whether or not my micro goals are sufficient to get me to where I want to go, but that's ok. Goals need some flexibility; often when we are looking for something we think we want, we find what we really want (or at least what we really don't want).
