My short list would be: Tom Cruise (Tropic Thunder being an exception) Nicolas Cage (Kick Ass was still awesome despite him) Sandra Bullock
Jack Black. He always plays the same character and it's not one I like. Same thing for Michael Cera, Arrested Development not included. He almost ruined Scott Pilgrim for me.
I will never understand the appeal of either Owen Wilson or Matthew McConaughey. They're unfunny, they're not good actors, and they're the same person in EVERY. SINGLE. MOVIE. Not QUITE as bad, but Vince Vaughn isn't my favorite either. Not as bad as those two, because he can at least be funny.
Agreed, anytime I see any of those names attached to a movie I pretty much lose interest.
Jennifer Coolidge is hard for me to watch. Even as a voice-actor in "Robots", I thought she sucked.
I wouldn't say there are any actors I can't watch, however, there are actors who would make a movie less appealing for me to watch: Owen Wilson
Adam Sandler
The Rock (but I suppose that would depend on the context of the movie...)
Most actors who aren't real actors (like John Cena) edit: Upon reading some other comments, I would like to add Sean William Scott. Can't stand that guy.
At one point in my life I really enjoyed Adam Sandler, but that was a long time and many questionable movies ago. Kind of sad I guess, but his career went to shit and I grew up.
Yeah I jumped off that bandwagon well before Jack & Jill
As I have mentioned in some other posts, I really can't understand why people think that Dan Aykroyd is funny? He's getting some fantastic movies but I think they're fantastic in spite of him not because of him. I also can't stand Sally Fields and Helen Hunt. For the most part I have a hard time taking Ben Affleck seriously too.
His work on SNL, and on "Briefcase Full of Blues" goes a long way, but yeah - DA should have retired a long time ago.
I can't think of anything I liked with Dan Akroyd in it since Ghostbusters ... But Affleck was the bomb in Phantoms!
