As I read this article, I was reminded that one of the main arguments I hear people make about “the evils of socialized healthcare” is that they worry they’ll need to wait for care and won’t be able to get the care they need.

So now... because people can’t follow basic principles of decency and civility, we still live in a system where we pay far more than the rest of the world... AND we get to wait for some surgeries.

    Procedures such as knee replacements and colonoscopies will be among those delayed, but things such as cancer treatments and trauma surgery will not.
