The new mask trend in my area is wearing it on your chin. Which apparently isn't uncommon. We've had a few thousand new cases since reopening
I would say I see about 1/4 to 1/5 of masks not worn over the nose. there was an impossibly pale, impossibly privileged 'boomer out walking her schipperke at the park, and by "walking" I mean "sitting on a bench" giving me the death'n'doom stinkeye for daring to jog without a mask. Her own didn't cover her nose. This is the problem: for some people, they really are the MAGA hats of the Left. Sure - they're fighting COVID or whatever but they can't be bothered to look into the "why" even a tiny little bit. So sure. If there's a better way to signal your virtue than wearing a mask, do that instead. Maybe virtue prevents infection, I dunno.
