Has anyone set their cookies on Google Chrome. Chrome also gives you a list of the cookies that have been downloaded onto your computer and such a list! I even have 7 Hubski cookies.
On Google Chrome, under Advanced Settings, Privacy, Content Settings, I get these choices:
Adjust cookie and site data permissions
Block cookies by default
Allow cookies by default
Keep cookies and site data by default until you quit your browser
Make exceptions for cookies from specific websites or domains
Has anyone set their cookies?
I use Firefox with a few add-ons for better privacy protection. Set everything to be deleted on browser exit, I never have needed history from yesterday and use these add-ons. Adblock Fully Disable all ads. Better Privacy. Deletes LSO Cookies that persist (*flash cookies) and are not deleted when you clear your history and cookies. Script Blocker. Disables all scripts, flash, ect. You can allow scripts by domain. Script Blocker is an acquired taste, you have to enable scripts one by one and for the first week or so it's annoying as you build a whitelist for your most visited sites. The benefit is that it disables all 3rd party javascript libraries from tracking you, Facebook and social buttons, Google Adsense, ect.
I (usually) set my cookies to accept by default, but remove them when I close the browser. In the case of chrome, that would be checking the "Keep cookies and site data by default until you quit your browser". I also add exceptions for those few sites I wish to remain logged in to, like Hubski. The benefit of this is that your cookie jar is not littered by unwanted cookies, which can be used to track you the easy way.
