If this passes, I foresee it taking on the same status as the "Bill of Human Rights." Namely, a very lovely little piece of paper that judges will ignore because it is a tremendous blow to national sovereignty.

Actually, that's how I see it playing out basically everywhere. Censoring the internet in such an open way would mean the death of the political career of anyone who supported it.

That and man, can you see ANY major telecommunications company getting behind this?
