I feel like we're at a strategic disadvantage, because ultimately, it doesn't matter which of the dems wins the primary. I'll almost assuredly vote for them. Even though I want it to be Bernie, what's important are the teams of people appointed by POTUS, and whether or not they are competent (and also whether or not POTUS will listen to their advice, but that's just a Trump thing, right?). Bernie, Warren, and Yang would probably have some of the more ambitious deputies, and it's about damn time for ambition still rooted in some sort or objective reality.

I'm impressed that thenewgreen was like "Yang, tho" several months ago. The fact that Yang's heavy nerd-scientist bent appears to resonate with some non-negligible number of polled peeps makes me feel warm and fuzzy.

My plan is vote for Biden and move to Canada with bfx.

Because we all know that the Blue team ie going to go out of their way to fuck Bernie again.

Are they really though? If anything, it seems they have been willfully ignoring Yang.

I have no doubt that the Dems sidelined Bern in 2016, but what's the evidence that this is happening to him now? I haven't noticed him getting any less coverage than Warren. Biden obviously has some levers on the machine he can pull, but I don't see his coverage out of sync with the polls either.

They can both sideline Bernie AND Yang.

The Democratic establishment is firmly tied to their money, and from what I can tell that means Biden, Buttigieg and Warren, in that order of preference.

Agreed. They nerfed Gabbard, and of course, they have the right to; they are a political party, not a government institution. But, is there evidence that it is happening to Bernie this time around? I've seen Yang left off lists that he should have been on, but not Bernie.

I am concerned that bots/RT/Zerohedge, etc., are working that narrative in an effort to reduce Dem turnout in November. I know first hand that ZH played a big role in converting my uncle from a Bernie supporter to a Trump voter. He emailed me tons of articles along the way.

This is the classic issue with the dems over the past what? 20? 30 years? We’re arguing on Yang vs Bern as a case of better vs best (You decide who’s who) instead of rallying behind one candidate who will, even if not being a person personnel option A, “better” than an “R” or fucking Tulsi Gabbard.

Yeah Yang is great but he doesn’t have the visibility of Bern or Warren right now - why not make sure SOMEONE from D wins in 2020 and then figure out how to push for Yang for 2024 Jesus this isn’t that hard to figure out. Or is it?

I think it is that hard. Dems are cats, GOP are dogs, it seems.

Like I said, any one of the candidates that were in that last debate are swell with me. My least favored is probably Biden, but whatever, he has my vote.

I actually wish Klobuchar was polling better. She seems a very worthy candidate.

I think it becomes less hard when we acknowledge the behavior and recognize it as self defeating in the attempt to build and progress a better society (better how amirite).

Shrug.

Like you said, they make their own decisions.
