I think you should use the site however you want as long as it doesn't make it bad for everyone else. A couple ideas though -- If you have a bunch of links you are interested in a little, and a few you think are high quality, you can tag the lower interest ones with a personal tag like #darlingbookmarks or #asdjasdfjkl or whatever. This will let people hide or filter those without blocking you entirely. You could also make yourself a weekly link thread and add the links you want to save to it as you read.
