Some time ago, one had to pay per minute and get on the computer in a sperate room. This is no longer the case. People are more and more connected via mobile internet connections (smartphones etc) or wireless around the house (tablets, laptops). This means that one can reach more and more people and machines via the internet. The audience that goes on the internet are no longer people looking for discussions on some sort of BBS. These people are looking for whatever they want. The evolution of organizations like Wikileaks and Anonymous is only natural for such a network.

Cyberwars however, are the result of another trend. That trend is the increased dependence on machines, in particular computers. When taking into account the cost and the strategic advantage of cyberweapons as opposed to conventional weapons. it is a logical step.

This all is very unfortunate since it kind of spoils the internet for normal people, but also needed. The internet is so big and important that we need to use it, also for political issues.

that's very insightful its defiantly a mixed bag but it does seam more like a war zone but that's how things evolve i suppose.
