Just made them mk. I didn't have walnuts but only cashews. Cashews are more butter like when crushed so it was not quite like mk's. They weren't as fluffy, but they were damn good. KB - You are right that the ingredients would be more omelet like but the taste and consistency is definitely more pancake than omelet. Thanks mk, I will definitely be making this regularly.
You can use about 1/8th of a teaspoon of baking powder per ~100ml of batter to 'cheat' and make them a bit fluffier. I had no nuts to use for the recipe but it worked quite well on Nutella + flour instead. I'm still trying to grok the recipe, since I don't really like walnuts.
