It's a lot harder than it looks. Once you are up top, it looks farther, and your body just doesn't want to do it.

I did this rope swing thing in Zambia. I love heights, but it still took a measure of doing to literally step off a fifty metre cliff. Also, thirty metres of free-fall before the rope catches and you find out for sure it's clipped right. Fun.

Steel cable. Strung across the ravine, with the swing cable tied in the middle. Step off the cliff, free fall thirty metres, the rope catches and you swing.

Not sure I could. Would really want to, but that would be harder than skydiving, I think.
