So I started trying to use Opera yesterday. So far, so good. however, when you copy an URL from Opera, it presumes you don't need HTTP:// or HTTPS://.
This makes Hubski cry.
So you copy and paste and Hubski says "fuck off, I need an HTTP:// or an HTTPS://." So you say, "hokay, here you go." Then Hubski says "HA HA SUCKA I ALREADY ADDED ONE NOW YOU GOTS TWO!" and the link breaks.
Dunno. So far Opera seems to be every bit the virus Chrome is. We aren't particularly impressed.
Thought this was about opera music. Am disappoint. Shared anyways. No ragrets.
I've been using Chrome for years. Should I not be using Chrome? Safari kinda blows, if you will.
The problem with chrome is that every tab you open is one, two, three or more processes. It gets really memory-intensive really quickly. It used to be a lightweight little browser but now it's basically a mob of lightweight little processes that quickly become a bloated monster.
There's no significant benefits from running a 64-bit spinoff of Firefox yet. If you strongly disagree with the decisions of Mozilla, you can use explicitly privacy-focused flavors like TorBrowser or GNU IceCat.
On my Windows 8.1 box that I use for gaming, Firefox acted... weird. I'm not sure what Waterfox is doing different, but it has been more stable and responsive. Funny thing is that Waterfox does not like running in my VM that I use to tinker with Linux flavors. Not sure why.
