Awesome! I love to share! You don't even have to review any of them if you don't want to, but if you do decide to share, give me a shout out. I'd love to see what you think.

I'll make a short list with a small variety of movies.

Genuinely good movies that I really enjoyed

Frank – A movie about an eccentric musician and a talentless hack who is trying to leach off of him. Inspired by Frank Sidebottom.

Our Idiot Brother – A good man, with his heart in the right place, messes up the lives of his three sisters due to his inability to think things through.

The One I Love – A couple goes on a retreat to try and work on their marriage and things get very weird, very quick.

Edit: Two more genuinely fun ones . . .

Drinking Buddies - Relationships are hard. This movie had a pleasant ending though.

Safety Not Guaranteed - You know the meme. It's fun, it's easy, it's good.

Movies that aren't going to blow you away, but are still enjoyable

Man Up – An idiot knocks up his girlfriend. His idiot buddy tries to help him get ready for father hood. I won't lie. It's not going to blow you away, but it's an easy, fun watch.

The Details – Yuppies are screw ups. Yup.

Movies that are so bad, they're going to make you mad

COG – Spoiler: A smug atheist finds God. Shocking premise. I know. David Sedaris and his writing aside, this movie has wooden acting and a wandering plot. What makes it hard to watch is that it often has scenes that seem to just barely misses their mark.

Battle Beyond the Stars – Some Sci-Fi in the late '70s and early '80s just didn't hold up. If you want to remember why, watch this.

I watched Our Idiot Brother many moons ago but hardly remember it.

That's actually a trait I like about movies like Our Idiot Brother. They're there to share a story, an experience. They're not trying to leave some profound message or blow you away. As a result, they often come across as simple, pleasant, and comfortable, like a nice cup of hot tea. So while they're not memorable for being amazing, they're memorable for being enjoyable.
