Actually, at first glance, this provided a really good idea for one (that is, not that this one isn't good of course. Ahem)

The center circle and the bottom dot, along with the amputee's arm in this case, make it look like a light bulb, the other dots being rays of light.

I would totally design this for you, but my creative talent is in the building or breaking of computers, not, y'know, actual creation.

Something like this?

i think you could stand to add a filament inside the bulb... it looks a little funnel-y right now

I see an upside down beaker thingy. Like from chemistry? It's called a beaker right?

I like this concept a lot.

[edit] Clarification - a beaker is (generally) a straight-sided vessel, with a pouring spout on the rim. The more you know!

If pissing off your friends is bad, is pissing on them good?

I agree, but I'll have to leave that to someone else I'm afraid: I'm stuck on a half-wonky laptop with only paint.net, which is why the example I posted isn't very good. It is seriously giving me a headache... the trackpad randomly stops working and the usb mouse keeps double-clicking, let alone the poor screen resolution and lack of software.

it's still a nice example. it just needs fine tuning.

been there on the wonky laptops. my dad used to work for Dell and he would insist that he could fix whatever problems came up. which would have been fine if we weren't living 2000 miles apart and it had a penchant for crashing during finals week.

Yeah that's in the direction I was thinking!
