I usually listen to a small playlist of music. The playlist starts out hectic then it progressively get slower and more rhytmic. Usually by the end of the playlists its something classical and I'm really tired.

Oh that's cool that you start out strong and then slow it down as the playlist progresses. May have to try that. I've tried playlists that are all fairly soft but I also don't like going to bed with music playing because I have this weird sense of "unfinished business" that makes me want to stay up and finish it. Sometimes it works though. Sometimes.
