PlayStation Vita clearly appeals to boys more than girls - but do you know any girls who like playing it too? If so, what age group are they in?
Thanks!
Does anyone play the Vita? Sadly, I don't know anyone off the top of my head who owns one - let alone plays it.
I used to work at an EB Games and even then I knew very few people who played a PSP/Vita. I always wanted one, in particular because it was part of an ecosystem I never experienced when I was growing up as I only had Nintendo and then Xbox systems. Even as my wife and I bought a ps4 and I seriously thought about buying a vita to compliment it, we just both got DS's so we could play pokemon together. But still, I hear vita has some harvest moon games.
If you have a ps4, the vita is definitely worth the buy if you have decent upload speeds at home and decent download speeds common when you're out of the house. With a decent connection, you can play full ps4 games with the vita on the go. Basically 0 input lag, too.
My girlfriend (24) plays the Vita on occasion. She has Borderlands 2, Guacamelee, and Ragnarok Odyssey Ace. Doesn't spend a great deal of time on it, though. Mostly plays Animal Crossing: New Debt on 3DS.
Guy here. I regret buying a vita but that's a whole different story. Some of the top vita games are gender neutral Tearaway, Sound Shapes, Little Big Planet so I imagine it's not much of a problem. That being said the few games I have played and enjoyed have had forced male protagonists like Persona 4 Golden or Killzone Mercenaries.
Barely anyone plays vita, let alone girls. Girls seem more attracted to the 3ds and wiiU if they do play.
