That was fantastic.

I have always wondered if dark matter can't simply be explained away by us just getting gravity completely wrong. That is really the only way we define it after all. -Since we have yet to get gravity right after so much time, that's my wager.

Some day, I hope in my lifetime, we will see gravity fall into place.

All that aside, this was a great video. I want to make an evening of them!

As a matter of fact, you're likely on to the right track of thought to doubt the clear "made-up-ness" that seems to populate most discussion between conventional theorists today.. I always wondered how even the Big Bang was explained by "well you see, first, there was nothing...and then there was... everything. But its not religious...its science! Except we have to create 99% of the matter we say must be there, but that can't be measured by any existing technique, unless we throw created math formulas at it that we 'correct' until they say what we want them to say"

I hope you get as excited as I was to have found a much more intuitively correct hypothesis- but be warned: it flatly rejects many sacred cows. Start here, and read from beginning to end. Epiphany follows :) http://www.electric-cosmos.org/indexOLD.htm

This is an excellent supplement to the above: http://www.haltonarp.com/articles

I hope you find them useful :)

One of the challenges of modern physics is to find a way to unite all Four Forces of the Universe into one. It's was alredy shown that the first three -- electromagnetism, the weak force and the stronge force -- could be described as one. Gravity still remains to be included in that model. So, yes, maybe it's because our understanding is still muddy.

More on the four forces here. http://tinyurl.com/68rcv5v
