Are your roommates trying to take advantage of you? Like you particularly? It almost sounds like that may be the case. You should bounce for a week, and see if they manage on their own or really do rely on you.
Oh yeah, as soon as I had taken all the stuff that I had brought for us to use in the apartment, they got butt-hurt. I've basically created a system where the area around me is clean, and the stuff that I use in the apartment is clean, but everything else can just decay to hell. One of them, "Luke", in particular is rather cheap and subsequently manipulative. He and I pay the same price, while the third has his own room so he pays a little more than us. When I had taken all of the stuff that I had bought because I was sick of nobody doing their share, "Luke" decided to get Roommate 3 to buy supplies for him, even though Roommate 3 already pays more for rent. There's more, but to sum it up, Luke is a bit of an asshole.
Roommate drama is the worst and most pointless drama on earth. You have pretty much three options: 1) get rid of the leeches 2) leave 3) sit back and take it Having good roommates is a godsend, and can be insanely fun. I would encourage you to try and find some good ones, because living alone is the defacto for most of the rest of your life (barring, of course, partners/gfs/spouses/etc). If you like Game of Thrones level drama, you can totally play them against each other and find more ideal roommates. Get the other roommate pissed at Luke and gang up to give him his 30 days, then get a new, clean, video-game loving roommate that you can use to ostracize the other one, or, at the very least, create a barrier so that the mess is contained within their room. Don't play nice, the sanctity of home should not be violated, and everyone is always trying to get their cut of the pie.
