Vast majority are nothing -- I've been in the state for about ten of them and barely noticed. But the trend, as they say, is worth looking at because it could signal fracking is doing structural damage we aren't aware of and that might manifest itself more significantly in a few years. I'm not anti-fracking by any means but I'm not pro-either. I'm basically just nervous all the time about everything.
Fracking. We had a project back home for geothermal energy. It was the next great thing, was going to save the world. Then it was all over and nobody talked about it ever again. Why?
Isn't this a good thing though? Large numbers of small earthquakes become routine and are built around. Single large ones destroy cities. We all are yelling about this being bad now, but I almost imagine that a hundred years down the line we will look highly at the accidental discovery of lubricating the planet. (and, yes, I understand that it doesn't quite work like that)
