Where ma haters at?!
Pre-sent. Obama was a terribly ineffective president. I had high hopes at the beginning of his first term, but I was a 9-year-old idealist. Now? “Inside every cynical person, there is a disappointed idealist.” - George Carlin E: Jesus roller-blading Christ, that's the actual headline. I thought Reuters was a serious news outlet! E2: Oh God, Obama actually said that? Damn.Where ma haters at?!
Video is here: He seems in a rather good mood. I wonder if it was the news of 4% economy growth, or something else.
Or he knows it's gonna get press and he's capitalizing on the stunt he's about to pull.
Is this a known stunt, or are you making predictions?
Just clarifying that we're talking about him using the phrase "Stop hatin' all the time." He made a joke, it's a crazed-over issue, it relates to the biggest U.S. political news at the moment, and it's appealing enough for average consumers. So yeah, he's giving the media something to talk abut him over. That's his job, and he did it well. Let's say I go streaking down Times Square to raise awareness for testicular cancer. Let's say you stand on the street corner politely and try to hand out flyers. Who do you think is going to get more attention? It's really simple stuff. Of course I'm going to look cheerful, you can bet I'm going to have a smile on my face and look confident when I've got the spotlight on my nuts.
Mah bad, I misunderstood, but I'm clear now. It's A+ reality TV. But is that what we've reduced the role of presidency to? At this point in Obama's stint, I'd say yes. Pardon me, I'm feeling extra cynical today. Cynical enough to streak alongside you, scowling, while my nuts taste the salty breeze of Manhattan's polluted humidity.Just clarifying that we're talking about him using the phrase "Stop hatin' all the time."

That was spot-on. I could never describe the ever-present stank of Manhattan.the salty breeze of Manhattan's polluted humidity.
I love that place, in all its carcinogenic glory. The energy...
