Article is from a few months back, after the Elliot Rodger shooting, but it's definitely still worth a read.
I swear this has been posted before. But maybe it was on Facebook, and not Hubski. Regardless: No way, man, you only fuck up or to the side, accepting somebody's qualities and if they are compatible with you is dumb and yes I am still bitter about that whole conversation. What the fuck is wrong with us? Uhhhh, I'm fine, thank you very much. This is "grinding the axe" syndrome, which has been a problem with the Elliot Rodger case. "It was the guns! No, it was the nerds! No, it was the women asking for it!" Just using the case as a method to get on your pedestal and start complaining about X group. Don't think that helps the situation as a whole, but maybe that's just me.The thought of just looking for women who shared our interests was a foreign one
So, a question, to my fellow male nerds:
I couldn't even finish reading this. He did nothing but pander all the way through and sensationalize a tragedy. Everything he's said has been said before, and just repeating it in poorly written pleas for attention isn't going to help anything.
