if Hubski grows large enough to attract general interest, it will also attract PR flacks promoting their clients' agendas while pretending that they're just "contributing to the discussion." -that's when the "all posts" feed will be irrelevant and "my feed" will be the go to.

I never said otherwise, it's very reasonable. It will be interesting to see how it scales but still, I think the community will be the filter. We can avoid spam posts but comments will be more difficult. We can always flag the spammers though. That said, there is a gray area between a spammer and someone that is genuinely proud of their microbrewery and wants feedback from our community ... Distinguishing between the two will be a challenge.

Really? I don't think it's difficult to discern what kind of agenda a particular post has. Especially once a user has developed a pattern of submittals, it becomes clear pretty easily. I think the majority of people on here know when they're being sold something.
