I'm looking for something that's like a word of the day for the highest quality articles online. It can be news (U.S. or World or industry-specific like Business, Tech, Education), a recently published and groundbreaking/interesting study, a human interest piece, a lesson of some sort, a creative work, anything really.
Just realized I didn't read all the comments, and I could have fallen for the recent NPR prank...
Absolutely the bets tag. Also, I discovered http://www.psmag.com/ and it's great too. Lot's of interesting stuff.#goodlongread, which is the best tag on hubski in my opinion.
I am trying to read Rattle's Poem of The Day (this link automatically updates each day; to permalink the day's poem, click its title) most days. Poetry also has a poem of the day but I find I generally prefer Rattle's.
I read "Whats the Point If We Can't Have Fun?" earlier today. Not the usual type of article I read, but I found it interesting. You may like it. I found it on hubski I think.
I guess a good place to start might be the global pages and the posts with 9 shares. That said, I always like to recommend reading some of our own Hubskiers content. It's fiction, but if you've not read kleinbl00's story Restaurant at the Start of the Universe, give it a crack. It's very entertaining and well written IMO. Good luck, let me know what you end up declaring the most interesting option! Oh, another futuristic piece of fiction that I found very compelling was posted a while back by caio and is titled The Lifecycle of Software Objects by Ted Chiang. Both are #goodlongreads
