You glorious bastard! That sounds so fucking cool fuffle. Smart work, simple builds and then BAM take some organ mother-fucka! Nice little accent piece there at the end. Damn. I'm going to go listen to this about 10 more times.

I'm going to record some parts on this tonight. I'm very inspired by your work. Thanks!!! I'll post your new version as another thread.

Haha, glad you like it! I'm looking forward to hearing how it sounds after you do your parts. You got some ideas for vocals?

thenewgreen  ·  4004 days ago  ·  link  ·

I have an idea for vocals in a few parts but nothing huge. You wanna take a crack at it?

Like I said, I've got some ideas for background stuff, but nothing in the foreground. Run with it.

Alright, I recorded some vocals that I'm not terribly thrilled with. There are parts I really enjoy, but others I don't. The lyrics are trite, but universal:

  Foolish with time
Careless with this heart of mine

  Waking up
  Getting to the point
  where feet hitting the floor
  Is not a chore anymore
It's not Hemingway, but then he never was much of a songwriter. What are your thoughts fuffle?

Hell yeah, this is awesome! Got some ideas for harmonies, too. Are there any outliers that haven't contributed yet?

thenewgreen  ·  4003 days ago  ·  link  ·

I don't think so. I know that ecib was considering working on one of the tunes. I'm VERY excited for the harmony ideas, I intentionally left the middle of the song open. I was thinking a big bgood79 guitar solo could be cool. I hear a nice crunchy guitar part to come in with your organ. Take it instrumental for the most part till the end, what do you think?

Opening wine, heading downstairs to studio. Game on.
