"Is Newt Gingrich going to do something worse than indefinitely detaining American citizens without a trial"? It is getting harder and harder to support this president yet alone support him enthusiastically.

Gingrich would have me casting an enthusiastic vote for just about anyone other than him though.

I feel ya, I don't think I will be voting for Obama this time around, though I am still undecided. Waiting on the debates that will come after Dec, 17th. The fact that Obama's admin wanted this provision to stay in the bill is horrible.

Curious, it's now well after Dec 17th. What are your thoughts on Obama and where (if you know) would you cast your vote if the election were tomorrow?

Hey there! Good to hear from you. Well I have been undecided for awhile, but if Ron Paul is unable to win due to the corruptness in the caucus process, (ex. in Maine) then I will most likely vote for Obama in November 2012. What about you?

I'm hopeful that the Americanselect process will put forth a quality candidate. Are you aware of them? I had a chance to talk with some of their volunteers while they were in Chapel Hill NC, I was impressed with their resolve to put a quality candidate picked by the people forth.

But baring that, obama will get my vote. I wouldn't be surprised if Ron Paul ends up on the Libertarian ticket.

I'm not ready to say who I will or will not vote for yet. Still a Loooong way to go. I find myself baffled that the left isn't furious over this? Bet then I remember this post: http://hubski.com/pub?id=11200

The quote at the end is fantastic: One day, most Americans will point at us in the news media and say, ‘Why didn’t you tell us? Why did you encourage all that partisan bile and venom? Why did you feed us all that trivial crap, when so many terrible things were converging?’ And no one will be happy with the answer. Least of all those of us who offer it. ‘What we gave you,’ we will say, ‘is what you wanted.’ -Ted Koppel
