Didn't come across as asshole-ish. Im fine with criticism, in fact i think its what makes someone a better person when they are able to reflect on some critique. Been experimenting a lot lately on different stuff so it'll be interesting to see what comes out of the studio next!

Thank you guys for the feedback it is well appreciated and it reenforces what I felt. Although its sometimes hard to be critical of ones own work, the writing process and hearing it all come together is what i enjoy the most. After, I tend to just move onto the next song. Locally every band here seems to all be screemo metal, and i hold the same position as @thenewgreen and @Jeshk0 stated, nothing new coming out just imitation. So i can see my own stuff with a fresher perspective. All the songs are done by myself and then i bring in the singer and drummer later so its more about fun factor! ... and yeah, singer has a decent set of pipes! I seriously think this has been the most realistic feedback yet, just whats needed. Cheers Guys! :)

This is a fantastic post and one that I've had to read through a number of times to process some of the concepts I'm not familiar with however, the idea that we store information in the brain, like that of a computer is one that I have never been comfortable with (if this were so then I would be deleting some past encoding experiences!). I have also seen an increase in ads on TV promoting apps or websites that encourage users to 'reprogram' their brains. I understand their has been some scientific developments in understanding neuroplasticity but I think the jump straight into TV ads advising people that they can live happier lives via online games is somewhat pseudoscience. I could go into a vast philosophical rant but I'm keen to read your next post, thanks for sharing such an in depth article!

Yeah I had a vision when I read the title, of kids running around poking corpses with posts. :/

Highly informative! Starting with an explanation on how it is different is a good idea, this sets the reader up in a way that they'll reflect on their own news aggregate use and will either read on, relate to Hubski or sod off to Reddit and down vote someone for fun! Plus I loved the idea of being able to follow users more so than topics. To which one would think that regular engagement this way would lead towards more informative conversations.

Wait.... Or did you mean how did I find the page in the sense that it was difficult to find? Because I couldn't find it again until I searched through my browser history :p
