I have to go with Law$uits again. I've been listening to this album daily for the past month and it is fantastic, fun and musically impressive (punk rock) and they've only sold a handful of records so it's a great hidden gem. http://lawsuits.bandcamp.com/

It's interesting that you got that vibe from the article. I didn't realize the internet acronym in the article until it was pointed out here. This either has me in contempt that I can still read a piece and not be turned off by the author's conjecture or it has me troubled. Either way I haven't played Flappy Bird.
