I've got an old 10 speed Apollo, its not fancy but its got charm and I've done almost all of the work on it myself including a couple MacGyveresqe fixes. It is my trusty steed and gets me everywhere I need to go in my little city.
I've been playing guitar for something like 3 years now. I started after I stopped playing Saxophone in my school band. I always have to have some way to make music, I also tried to learn Ableton in that time but it doesn't have the same instant gratification as guitar.
Alberta?
Hey guys! Redditor of almost four years here. I checked out Hubski a couple years ago but never stuck with it because the community was so small at the time, I think I'll be sticking around this time.
I was going to make the Bond connection too... I guess I should have in the end. :P
This has to be one of my favorite songs to drive to... It makes me feel like I'm in the intro to a movie.
Really, anything by 'Mindthings' is great for rain driving... But Eve and The Sound After are probably my favorites. There's something about his sound that lends itself to traveling on a wet grey day.
Very much this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7brVyb8MomQ To go into detail, my family is going through a rough time financially and otherwise. Meanwhile I'm turning 19 soon and I'm moving across the continent to be closer to my girlfriend... and having second thoughts about doing it. I know it's what I want to do but I hardly have any money for the move, and I'm not going to be getting any help from my parents whether they want to or not and I would also be leaving most of my friends behind. But I can't help but feel overwhelmed by life and responsibility right now. Anyways there's a number of other reasons this song is touching me right now but those are probably too specific to get into.
