neat, I made the screenshot!
A book that I love also addresses the metaphysical, Haruki Murakami's 1Q84. It's fiction, but also an extraordinarily entertaining read. Most of Murakami's books and stories touch on the metaphysical, but this one is more clear-cut and accessible than his other novels, I think (although it still has dead ends, including an antithesis to Chekhov's gun). The book is a monster though, so you trade clarity for sheer volume.
Won't stop me from trying!
Haha I understand the feeling. Coming from a school that doesn't have Saturdays planned around football, it's still a nuisance to go to the games or even plan events around them (despite no parking, ticket fee, or alcohol present at St. Olaf). Georgia is a popular pick to unseat two-time defending East champion Missouri this year! They are loaded with talent but seem to underperform when expectations are high. I'm sure that their heartbreaking loss to Georgia Tech last year will motivate them this year, however. Bama, @ Tenn, Florida, @ Auburn, @ GT should all be fun games to watch.
I could have sworn I remembered them having a good season recently, but that was actually in men's basketball. Oh well. That being said, I'm the same kind of fan about St. Olaf. We lost our homecoming game in incredible fashion this year. I'm all about watching and keeping up with the P5 conferences, though.
I finally got to avoid using leet spelling on my preferred username, which was nice. But yeah, I feel that this space strikes a nice balance between being intuitive and complex. Might take a little bit to get used to!
