Nicely written!
Luna - Sad Dance -
I've been gone a while...
I am really enjoying Tengri - Icaros, it is excellent #psychill
Learning how to move my body through space and time :)
I love that they find puns we miss because of the modern pronunciation... People forget that Shakespeare was not "high literature" in those days, he wrote for the common crowd, and his plays are full of dirty jokes and references to events of the day that we completely miss.
Reminds me of the excellent "Women Fighters in Reasonable Armor" tumblr :)
1. Read http://hubski.com/pub?id=59754 and http://hubski.com/pub?id=59396 2. have fun 3. .... 4. Profit!
I like the first image better, the text looks very crowded in the second. If you want it more compact, I'd move it to the top left corner of the image instead. Also, the ape looks a bit uncomfortable to be honest, if I tried to hold his position, I'd fall over on my back, so I'm not sure how he doesn't ;)
I like it as an illustration, but I think it's too detailed to work well at small sizes which is what I normally expect from a logo.
It's been on my wishlist since I heard that Ghibli was doing the animation, and this review just makes me even more excited...
Have you read Anaïs Nin?
What are the specific errors you are seeing? I am in hubski irc channel, you can give me a shout there.
Looks pretty good... made http://plug.dj/hubski/, let's try it
I think it will happen eventually. Publishers run on very thin margins as is, and as long as they feel that they can get more by charging people for ebooks separately, they will keep doing so. Also, most publishers don't publish ebooks yet, so for them it's additional work to actually create ebooks. That's why you only see smaller, technical presses like PragProg or O'Reilly doing something like it - they already have the infrastructure to create the ebooks easily, and their audience is tech-savvy enough to benefit from it.
Seriously, is there anything people can do to help get these clowns kicked out of office? This is rage-inducing.
Ahh... wish you strength.
Oh, another suggestion (though not game-engine based) - the ongoing Live Free Play Hard series on Rock Paper Shotgun. It's great.
If you like interactive fiction, you should definitely read Emily Short's blog and go through archives of IFComp - there is some brilliant, brilliant stuff in there.
Nice, I like the idea of a weekly thread. Yahtzel - Girls EP is kind of chill electro I suppose. Don't hold me to that definition, I don't know what the hell I'm talking about. It's rather nice, at any rate.
If you are not opposed to text-based games, I highly recommend checking out Twine-based games - howling dogs is a great example. Also, generally speaking the Ludum Dare competitions have quite a few excellent entries worth investigating every year.

Self-censorship basically leads to a situation where you only share links that appear to the broadest-possible audience. Your followers might as well read top-ranked posts on r/all if you are going that route. Stumbling on fascinating things that I had no idea I could ever be interested in is why I read hubski. Besides, how can you know what I am or am not interested in? Your image of your followers is undoubtedly one-sided - I am certain that even people I know in real life have sides and interests I know nothing about, so how much more likely is it that you have no real idea what your followers truly like when we are talking about names behind a screen? With that in mind, it is pointless trying to fit your interests to some imaginary "broad" standard.
I love the presentation!
It was posted on todayilearned subreddit recently, that's probably why.
that's an original way of keeping track of upcoming tasks, but who am I to argue ;)
