Too bad about your RX7. I had an '83 and still miss it (stolen in '92). That car was really fun to drive.

Many, but the first one that comes to mind is the Guns & Roses' cover of Dylan's "Knockin' on Heaven's Door". Horrendous.

Your iPod story is pretty impressive then. There's no way I would've rolled the dice a second time if I was that stoked, in that setting. I haven't traveled in a while and I'm starting to get the urge, so I appreciated your story. As far as tunes go, Vetiver is tough to match, but I would enjoy trying. I'll give it a think. With all of those demos on your iPod, I'm curious if you record or perform? What style? etc.

No problem. Good music tilts the odds when gambling with the shuffle button, right? I liked your podcast (the song fit nicely) and admire your eclectic taste in music. The Errant Charm is certainly a beautiful effort as a whole.

I am surprised by your picks. IMO both are sad songs, particularly Moon River, although incredibly beautiful.

There are too many to list, but the Vetiver release from last year (The Errant Charm) has two that easily fit the bill: "Can't You Tell" & "Wonder Why". Both are warm smile inducers.

Glad that you dig it. Those are two gems that I wish I could make everyone listen to. I've been listening to Vetiver for a few years now and the sound has evolved, but not too drastically. Know what I mean? Really good stuff.

I would say their version of "All Mixed Up" by the Cars is an improvement on the original, and a far better cover than the other two on that album (Silly Love Songs & Long Distance Runaround). IMO of course.
