This doesn't really have anything to do with Moore's Law. The opening statement of the article, that this iPad is a vindication of Moore's Law, is wholly nonsensical. The iPad (as much as I love it) is hardly a radical technological advance, and I don't think it's doing anything to pioneer new frontiers in transistor density.

I just could not do the metro start menu and ended up turning metro off completely. This could be because something is lost in translation using it under parallels, or maybe I'm just old and stuck in my ways, but I couldn't seem to make anything work easily.

The picture frames seemed to give it away 100%, the lighting seemed sort of sketchy, too.

I'm a vegetarian, and my years of not eating meat has solidified my aversion to the idea of ever eating meat again. However, it would be nice to see this technology progress to the point where healthy food could be produced and distributed dirt cheap.
