The guy really should have settled it with his ex-wife instead of going after the lawyer. That lawyer is just doing her job, it is like taking revenge on a gas attendant for crimes undertaken by BP.

Blogger.com got blocked on Voat due to spam not because it is compromised by NSA puppetmasters. Come on man.

"Reaching out to the world, is only a game for the rich."

This is probably the craziest thing you have said and you said a lot of crazy shit. If you want to reach out to the world, you can have your own website for the low cost of free.

It's a Catspiracy

I was really into Voat but I think these last few days of being offline has really put a damper on my enthusiasm for the platform. I would rather everyone came here instead.

hopefully, you think that people who learn to stop ignoring abuse just because the abuser is a celebrity. There are so so many cases like this featuring a famous person who had outstanding allegations against them for years but continue to abuse and abuse for many years because no one in a position of authority will take these allegations seriously.

Come on man, you are reading into it far too much if that is your take-away.

Skyrim is basically designed to be filled in by the community. Vanilla is virtually unplayable and boring without some essential modes to fix it. I am not even talking about amazing content like Falskar but essential bug and balance fixes.

I assure you that politics are properly kept out of the lectures. I am as free market as they come and I enjoyed it immensely.

Reddit is so much more focused like a fast food meal, here is like a buffet.

Watchdog  ·  3431 days ago  ·  link  ·    ·  parent  ·  post: What are your bedtime rituals?

My routine is as follows: I drink half a liter of water Brush teeth Washroom Workout for thirty minutes (usually jump rope then a kettle bell workout) Shower Meditate for ten minutes Get dressed Eat breakfast (usually a blueberry/banana shake) Then I am out the door.

If it is the weekend then I will usually throw in a thirty minute run after my workout and a bigger less healthy breakfast.

Isn't this literally just adding lemons to water?

Watchdog  ·  3432 days ago  ·  link  ·    ·  parent  ·  post: What are your bedtime rituals?

Consistency is the key, if you are consistent including weekends then the whole sleep thing takes care of itself.

Watchdog  ·  3432 days ago  ·  link  ·    ·  parent  ·  post: What are your bedtime rituals?

No one cares whether I drink or not. Events that I would have go to regardless are totally fine and it hasn't been a problem at all. That said, I have definitely cut back on going to get togethers where the objective is to get drunk because they are not fun anymore. Being drunk with other drunk people is fun, being sober with drunk people is super fucking annoying. If I am out at a smashfest and I don't want to deal with the 'why aren't you drinking' then I get a glass of club soda, throw a lime wedge on there and lie to people. Again, I don't really go to those any more because they really are a waste of time and I want to leave early anyways because I don't want to fuck up my morning routine.

Watchdog  ·  3432 days ago  ·  link  ·    ·  parent  ·  post: What are your bedtime rituals?

I have too actually. I could never stick to it and I didn't realize why until I watched a youtube video (yeah, I know but it was really good)

I always left an opening for when I could go out with friends or celebrate with a glass of wine or whatever the exception was and there was always an exception popping up then before I knew it, I was hammering through bottles weekly again.

He is right, 100% has been a breeze because I don't even think about it, I don't have this empty yearning when I pass a liquor store. It has been a breeze and I am over a month at this point, which is longer than I have ever had before.

Watchdog  ·  3432 days ago  ·  link  ·    ·  parent  ·  post: What are your bedtime rituals?

I recently quit drinking. It has been the best decision I have ever made.

Watchdog  ·  3432 days ago  ·  link  ·    ·  parent  ·  post: What are your bedtime rituals?

I don't have a bed time routine but I have a morning routine that I follow like clockwork. I get up at 5 am no matter what, including weekends and I walk through my routine. It is magic and by the time I am out of the house I am at 100%. I can get by with 10 hours, 8 hours, 5 hours, easy peasy as long as I wake up at 5 am every day.

Given the adnormal number of hard drive crashed when congress requested data from the IRS, maybe the solution would be to request data from all government departments. This will result in virtually a complete loss of data therefore everyone could start from scratch and build a proper data system from scratch.

Well they know they personally will not pay for it as the majority of the voters probably feel like they don't have anything to lose. The "rich" or older professionals are the ones who are like "oh my god, what are they doing?!?"

I don't think anyone is surprised by that result. If it was yes, I think there would have been riots.

Watchdog  ·  3433 days ago  ·  link  ·    ·  parent  ·  post: What will you miss most from Reddit?

I would say that there is already established niche interests. You like an obsure board game? There is a sub with hundreds of people. You collect figures? Silver? You hate someone in particular? There is a subreddit with hundreds of people who are into the same thing. It can be an echo chamber but it is also nice once you set up the subs.

Watchdog  ·  3433 days ago  ·  link  ·    ·  parent  ·  post: Has anyone used a floatation (isolation) tank?

Yes I have and I would highly recommend it. I used one in university as a subject so I have only done it the one time. My thoughts and observations:

1. It is an intense introspective experience so if you have going through something in your life like your wife cheating on you or you murdered someone then I probably wouldn't recommend it. I spent a lot of time daydreaming about the future and thinking about recent fuck-ups. Which was disappointing since I could do that any day, I wish I was more in the zone.

2. Condensation builds up in the tank and then drips, which was super fucking annoying. It is super quiet so the drip sounds so loud. Plus you are not moving so you actually feel the drip hitting the water.

3. You start to get phantom itches after awhile and those are annoying but it went away after a while of not really moving around.

4. I answered survey questions afterwards, they told me what they were testing for but I don't remember the details as it wasn't particularly interesting.

Overall I would recommend it if you have a shot, I have no idea how much these types of things cost.
