This is exactly what I'm doing. I talked myself out of the arts (which was my real passion), and went to college for a BA and ended up majoring in economics. I keep wondering if I gave up too easily, am I going to regret this forever, am I faking my interest in what I'm studying just because I'm not bad at it?

I guess this isn't particularly helpful, but sometimes it helps to know that even if there aren't people in the same boat, we're in the same ocean?
