> A virus with the potential to kill up to half the world’s population has been made in a lab. Now academics and bioterrorism experts are arguing over whether to publish the recipe, and whether the research should have been done in the first place.
What could go wrong?
The flu in question only affects ferrets, not people. So technically, it could kill half of ferretity.
Personally, I think not publishing the results will only buy time for us. But that might be a worthwhile thing. It will be interesting what the NSABB says.

What will all the ferret owners do when they lose their companions? My guess, more hackysack and disc golf.
